Tiger Women bear their claws to maul Panthers

The female Tigers were the shining light for the club this weekend as they punished the newly formed Caloundra Panthers in the last game of the day yesterday.

In their second game for the season they revelled in their opportunities to dominate the game. The Tigers have recruited well with Maddison Cooley and Lexie Baker giving the team some much needed height. While Cooley and Baker are new to the game their extensive Netball experience and sporting ability is going to be a big positive for the team.

Emily Bowden had a night out kicking four goals while down back Grace Mahoney was impassable.

The Tigers kicked the game home with a four goal quarter to win an exciting game in front of a cheering home crowd.

Scores: Mayne 7.7.49 d Caloundra 1.3.9 Goals: E Bowden 4, D Cott, M Dick, T Selman 1. Best: M Cooley, D Cott, M Dick, A Baker, E Bowden, G Maloney.
